Microsoft Announces Acquisition Of Marketing Technology Firm PromoteIQ
Redmond, Washington-based American multinational technology company Microsoft (MSFT) develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services.
On Monday, Rik van der Kooi, Corporate VP, Microsoft Advertising reported Microsoft is acquiring PromoteIQ, a leader of vendor marketing technology to online retailers and brands. PromoteIQ is to maintain its brand and join Microsoft in the Advertising division. The new association seems to enhance Microsoft’s current retail advertising offerings for its retail and manufacturing clients and offer them ways to grow further via their e-commerce and in-store commerce businesses.
PromoteIQ’s existing clients like Kroger, Kohl’s and Overstock.com are reported to be to continue getting services from PromotelQ’s team along with additional support from Microsoft.
