Caterpillar Appoints Ogi Redzic To Lead Digital Enable Solutions Division (DESD)

Ogi Redzic has been appointed by the board of directors of Caterpillar, Inc. as a vice president of the company. Redzic will lead the Digital Enable Solutions Division (DESD) and report to Bob De Lange, the Group President of Customer & Dealer Support. DESD is made up of Caterpillar’s data analytics group, equipment management tools, the enterprise data hub, Cat® Connect technologies, and the customer experience portals. Julie Lagacy, a Caterpillar Vice President, has been leading DESD on an interim basis and will continue as vice president of Global Information Systems.
Redzic enters the position with over 20 years of global experience in delivering digital solutions. The recently appointed vice president previously served as the senior vice president of connected vehicles and mobility services at Renault Nissan Alliance which is based in Paris, France. Prior to that, Redzic has held leadership positions at Nokia HERE, Mitsubishi, NAVTEQ, PCTEL, Inc., cyberPIXIE, and Motorola. Redzic holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
