Apple to Launch 70 New Emojis with iOS 12.1
Dow 30 component Apple (AAPL) revolutionized personal technology with the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984. Today Apple leads the world in innovation with iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Apple’s four software platforms — iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS — provide seamless experiences across all Apple devices and empower people with breakthrough services including the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Pay and iCloud. Apple’s more than 100,000 employees are dedicated to making the best products on earth, and to “leaving the world better than they found it.”
Used by texters and messenger users all over the world, the emoji has become a standard in modern day communication. With its new iOS 12.1 update for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, Apple will bring over 70 new emojis to the scene.
Some of the new additions will include character emojis that have red, gray, and curly hair, a new bald emoji, new emojis that represent animals, sports, and food, and even more emotive smiley faces.
Some of the new animals to look out for include the llama, mosquito, swan, and raccoon. Sports lovers can look forward to using the new emoji for softball, frisbee, and lacrosse with the new update.
Currently there are thousands of emojis that are available for use on iOS, watchOS, and macOS.
