Guallarauco Brand to Be Bought By Coca-Cola Chile Affiliates
The Coca-Cola Company (KO) is the largest total beverage company in the world. It offers 500 plus brands in over 200 countries, and is committed to reducing sugar in its drinks and providing new and diverse drinks to people everywhere.
The Chilean affiliate along with the local bottlers of Coca-Cola have complied to buy Comercializadora Novaverde SA, a smaller, rival company. Coca-Cola Co has agreed to buy the smaller company for $80 million.
The company is well-known for its production of juices, ice cream, and frozen fruits Guallarauco from Inversiones Siemel. The merger of the two companies is still subject to approval by regulators.
