Home Prices Rose in October
The S&P CoreLogic Case-Schiller National Home Price index rose again in October at a rate of 6.2%. The rise was once again attributed to an increase in demand and tight inventories which limited the supply. It is further expected that many may turn to renting as home prices continue to move ahead of wage increases. Also, it is expected that new home production will increase but not enough to offset the current pressures.
